I agree but the banks then loose the capitol to stay in business. If the are at 3% capital, a very few loans have to be renegotiated before they are insolvent...

Very much like today. The olny way thay are still in business is by the grace of the accounting standard board allowing mark to mith....

Deflation is the steak in the heart of the banks.
