What a great chart. Note that gold has risen 3.5 times in U.S. dollars since 2001. Notice the huge tea cup and handle formation (you can only see the right side of the tea cup here, as the left side is back in 1980, almost 30 years ago.). When breakouts occur from such patterns, the rise is usually equal to the depth of the tea cup. Expect gold to rise to at least $1650 from here, and that assumes the U.S. dollar does NOT decline in value. Should the dollar decline as this breakout evolves, the ultimate dollar price will be much higher....
