Patrick Levasseur's Uragold Bay Resources Inc. (UBR) rose one-half cent to six cents on 89,000 shares. The company is fussing over scanning electron microscopy and electronic microprobe analysis from its Beauce property in Quebec. Apparently the results suggest that there is placer gold bedrock at the property. Beauce is an aggregates project, so you can imagine Mr. Levasseur's surprise when his company sampled "pristine gold/silver grains & gold nuggets" in its gravel last fall. Now, Uragold hopes to set up a small placer test plant to mine for gold. It also hopes to sell aggregates, pointing out that several local entrepreneurs have "expressed interest in acquiring large volumes." It best get to work on sales. At Sept. 30, the company had negative $300,000 in working capital.
