in response to twilight's message

Similarly, we haven't seen 2 grams per tonne in GNH's assays, except over rare narrow intervals here and there. Most of the rock in these cores seems to not have gold in it, according to the assays. So really, GNH is only establishing volume of rock that has no gold.

Then again, maybe I've missed something? Can someone post some holes released in the past that show decent intervals of decent grade gold?

Yes, twilight, you have missed something ! Something very important !

Because nearly all Timmins / 88 Zone drilling so far is ACROSS strike (SE to NW direction, when the veins are trending SW to NE)!

Have a look at the following maps and you will understand:

http://www.goldenhopemines.com/_resources/maps/88_zone_trenching_feb_14.pdf

http://www.goldenhopemines.com/_resources/maps/Timmins_Prelim_Drill_Comp_Jan_13_2011_v2.pdf

Meaning that they intersect the veins in a (roughly) 90 degree angle, hence the short intervalls.

Would they drill ALONG strike (as a lot of other explorers do), we would see probably 3-figure intervalls (100+ meters) of 2gpt !

But that would paint a WRONG picture for tonnage estimates.

Secondly, regarding your quote "Most of the rock in these cores seems to not have gold in it" : have a look at the 2009 bulk sampling results :

This trench 09A bulk sample assayed 4.619 gpt gold over 23 metres ! And that is a SURFACE sample !

Have a look at the homepage and you will find similar results for other surface samples.

Stating that GNH has "mostly rock that has no gold in it" is just nonsense !

I would do some more DD !
