There is such a variety out there you really have to do your own homework and look at what your real needs are. Most of the big banks squeeze you pretty hard because people just open discount brokerage accounts at their local branch where they have their savings account. Sigh.

From what I have seen, here is a list of the best discount brokers I have seen. They all have comparable fees for transactions and data feeds. The big difference comes in when you look at what markets and products you can trade and the execution speed of your orders.
