Why did the share price drop from its high this week starting on Monday before the news was released on Wednesday?

You should also ask Why did the SP go from 60 cents to 98 cents?

Thats how the stock market works - things go up, things go down. There is not one specific reason the SP dropped, just like there isnt one why it flew up so quickly. It went up, people took profits, then more people panicked and then it went back down. What stock's price goes up and up and up and never down - NONE.
