I listened to it and was astounded.

The comments made by the CEO sounded like a pie-in-the-sky environmental company that was more interested in being "green" than being a for profit business. Comments like "we live on a giant rock of iron surrounded by carbon", "shades of green" and the whole discussion about dropping microwave ovens into oil wells.

I came away with the impression that the company's direction is more toward environmental activism than capitalism. This was a perfect opportunity to make a plug for the company with the news about building 9 tire recycling facilities, receiving a patent for the technology and all the other applications that exist. Instead we got a lecture on being green.

I think the opportunity was missed in a big way.
