FANCAMP EXPLORATION LTD.: EXPLORATION UPDATE
In view of recent market interest, Fancamp Exploration Ltd. has provided further comments on some key highlights released in the recent management discussion and analysis posted on SEDAR.
The most important of these is the acquisition, through staking, of a series of government-discovered lepidolite (lithium mica) occurrences (found in 2007 and reported in 2015). These occurrences are located some 60 kilometres east of Chibougamau in the Lac Jumonville district and are readily accessible by a lumber road network. They are apparently associated with a north-south granite and pegmatite intrusive complex extending along a strike length of approximately 23 kilometres and up to several kilometres in width. The area is largely unexplored, and the company has staked the complex in its entirety. A crew is scheduled to visit the site in mid-May, following breakup.
In other matters, application has been made to the federal government for a grant to partially finance a test facility to enable the commercialization of its proprietary Magpie process for the separation of high-grade TiO2 (titanium dioxide) from iron ores.
