EVOLVING GOLD TAKES STEP TOWARDS OPEN-PITABLE MINERALIZATION
NATRONA COUNTY, WY – ProspectingJournal.com – Earlier today Evolving Gold Corp. [EVG – TSX.V] announced the initial results from its 2010 core drilling program at its Rattlesnake Hills Project in Natrona County, Wyoming. Primarily through its drill holes 126 and 128, the company is encouraged by results showing mineralization extending to depths of 250-300 meters within the central portion of the mineralized zone. The belief from the results is that the potential for open-pit mining on the property has just increased; a welcome sign as the company prepares to wind down its drilling program for 2010 before winter fully arrives.
“Holes 126 and 128 today show that we have very nice continuous mineralization across the entire North Stock zone at vertical depths of at least 250m,” said Quenton Hennigh, President and Chief Geologist of Evolving Gold. “This is very encouraging, as we can perhaps mine an open pit down to that level.”
Going into its third season of development, the Rattlesnake Hills project finally has something to sink our fangs into. When drilling had started in 2008, there were some early, encouraging results suggesting a big system and at least a couple zones to work with. Then 2009's drilled confirmed earlier results, but also showed that the system was quite widespread with a lot of exploration upside.
We didn't quite get enough drilling in last season in 2009 to adequately define a resource here at Rattlesnake Hills as we and our engineers saw fit,” added Hennigh. “But we did identify what work we needed to do this season to confirm that potential.”

With today's results, there is a possibility that Evolving Gold has demonstrated what it had hoped and the true value should reflect that. As the price of gold seems to be holding on in the highest ranges in recent history, the findings at Rattlesnake Hills are positive for a group at the stage that Evolving Gold presently is.
