Just a small thought.. since this stock had stopped trading many years ago and was in somewhat limbo regarding the outcome of the legal challange. Can Canadian investors write off there total shares in this tax year 2015, or must we wait for a final outcome, (after settlement), hopefully, in tax year 2016?

I could use the tax reduction (next year) for 2016, if that is possible.
