Well, I could see a scenario where Chavez tells CITIC that they have to take care of Crystallex, and if LiKa Shing is involved, he could very well factor in a settlement with his friend Fung, ( there is absolutely no doubt that they are very close ), with CITIC's agreement with Chavez. Like....CITIC gets a slightly better deal, makes Crystallex go away, and Chavez looks real good, having washed VZ's hands of Crystallex for supposedly no cost to VZ.

This could happen in any of several scenario's, but I would be surprised if the conversation hasn't happened.
