My thanks to everyone who posted, or wrote to me privately, regarding my wife's health. She is much better. After a colleague could not teach a course in Australia she had to jump in as a very last minute replacement. That stress was too much for her previously damaged heart. Her blood pressure shot up her heart rate shot down. She's now seen a doctor and there has been an adjustment in her medication and there will be further study of her thyroid in January. (She's off to Italy for a rest). Her blood pressure is still elevated, but not much, and her heart rate went from 34 bpm at rest back to a more normal 72.

So she's much improved and so is my mood.
