I still don't understand this whole thing...gold busting thru the roof..our MOC cancelled at the last minute for reasons of convenience (are they TRYING to pay a big arbitration claim?)....China hungry for gold with lots of (relatively) worthless dollars to spend...the Venezuelan gold mining industry in a shambles with no willing investors other than Russia or China...but with China showing everyone the money...Venezuela's claims that they plan to double gold output this year....I just don't get it. Even corruption doesn't explain this fiasco in my mind. China will pay bribes and cook the books. No problem there...that's why Fung let them do the negotiating. It is all IRRATIONAL!
