February 25, 2011 The Tribunal decides that the Respondent’s jurisdictional objections will be joined to the merits in accordance with Arbitration (Additional Facilities) Rule 45(5).

What this means is that the Tribunal has decided that the jurisdictional objections from the Ven lawyers are not of sufficient merit to require a separate hearing. This puts the pressure on for the respondants (Venezuela) to argue the whole case in one hit. They can't create the
