They criticize abandonment of Minerven

The laziness in which the Minerven company is submerged, located in the Pebble, worries to active workers, occupational liabilities and patients who gave their health in favor of the mining development, as the case of Pedro Muñoz, that asks urgent president Hugo Chavez investments before it is too much behind schedule.

It also honors the ex- union leader who the lack of would scheme and necessary equipment in the company has forced the decrease of their production, causing a downheart in the working-class who does not know what to do against the crisis that faces and that every day affects plus them because nor the fortnights are being cancelled in time.

“When the company did not have president and the workers took the reins fought a record of 4,200 kilos of gold, now there are 2 thousand workers does not take place nor 100 kilos of gold to the month, and before there were 950 people, that what means, that before was spirit, but now not”, commented.

On the other hand it questioned the action of minister of Basic Industries and Minería, Jose Khan, against the denunciations that there are in Minerven. “The minister looks for guilty, but there is no culprit, all the responsibility is of Khan, he received 300,000 bolivars for dárselos to president Luis Herrera and the money never arrived, to say that the person in charge is the president of the company”.

Pedro Muñoz added that Minerven allows the support of at least 20 thousand people in the Pebble, reason why makes a call to president Hugo Chavez so that it destines investments for the recovery of the company, and not being made anything on the matter, announced that it and social leaders of the towns of the south will go to a hunger strike in search of an exit to the crisis.
