Central Bank of Venezuela published encyclopedia of gold industry

Caracas.- . Caracas .- The Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) will present this Wednesday "Gold Book", an encyclopedic text, written by researchers and specialists from various disciplines, gold activity in the country and the world.
The text also aims to raise awareness of sustainable exploitation and rational commercialization of this natural resource with potential for the harmonious development of the Venezuelan economy, referred to a press release issued by the issuing entity.
The president of the BCV, Nelson Merentes, Minister of People's Power for Basic Industries and Mining, José Khan, and the manager of International Reserves Management BCV, Jesús Arvelo, will host the event, to be held in the Library of BCV Gastón Parra, on the ground floor of Tower Financial.
"The publication of this work, by the BCV, is a contribution to the understanding of a gold item, which has been linked closely the central bank from its foundation," said Merentes, in the introductory text of the new edition.
