1. Chavez has shot his mouth off again in some fashion, regarding nationalization of gold mining in his country and the evil transnationals blah blah blah whatever. We've been down this path before. Crystallex has not been given the boot.
2. We have a rock solid Mine Operating Contract (MOC) with the republic of Venezuela which is enforcable by international law and is subject to international arbitration in the event of default of the contract by the republic of Venezuela.
3. This has gone on for way way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.
4. Crystallex has an agreement with China Railway and in kind the Government of China.
5. The paperwork required between KRY and China Rail has been completed and is awaiting Venezuela to grant permits/permission for the Las Cristinas project to proceed.
6. Crystallex board members are presently in Venezuela working with the Venezuelan government officials in order to grant such permission. Crystallex has not been informed that it is not in good standing nor that there is any problem with what it is attempting to achieve.
7. See no. 4. Hugo Chavez will not screw the Chinese Government.
8. Waiting sucks.
