Call unfulfilled promises of mining conversion
The miners complain that the compensation was not met

"The rest of the miners that we adhere to the conversion were forgotten," said Alfredo Villanueva, a spokesman for the miners in La Paragua.
Last Friday, the miners gathered in Ciudad Bolivar with Environment Minister Alejandro Hitcher, but failed to satisfactory answers to their demands. "The minister did not even receive the job applications with 1820 signatures of support."
Bs require payment of 10 000 to more than 4000 miners who received no compensation in 2008, as well as to provide scholarships, pensions and loans promised.
"Only 243 were socioproductive credits through the Mission Piar a population of more than 15 000 miners and 300 did not give us jobs that we promised."
In the afternoon, the miners were expected to be received by the Secretary of Public Safety, Efren Hernandez, to channel the request.
