"....or such later date as mutually agreed" which, if you've been following the expired 7/31 agreement, "we don't have to tell you what the agreed upon extension is, or if it even exits". So when 8/31 comes and goes, they've already set the precedent and there should be no further indignation or surprise. Concluding, do I think this is still in the works? Yes. Timing? Not a clue. Did the 7/31 agreement expire? Absolutely (there is no other official word or evidence to the contrary). They tap dance around "It wasn't terminated or we'd have to say so". It didn't have to be, it expired on its' own.
