I talked with Richard at PDAC about the illegal miners. The Las Cristinas concessions are very large areas. They don't have complete security over all of the land, but they do make great efforts to control access to the defined areas which will be commercially mined. Once in a while, someone sneaks in there, but they're caught quickly.

One of the main costs for ongoing operations at Las Cristinas is labour. And the main labour expense is security.
