Each company submitted an executive summary of their current situation in the financial, commercial, operational and labor. The aim, said Khan, is to make a general assessment of the productive chains to consolidate a report to be submitted to President Hugo Chavez in coming days.
"Proposals to address the adverse realities of consensus must emerge from the integration between the work tables and boards, with full clarity of the commitment within the Socialist Guiana Plan," said Khan.
The first to present its annual report were the industries of iron and steel sector. Ferrominera Orinoco, Sidor, Orinoco Iron and Comsigua, among others, initiated the meeting, followed by Bauxilum, Carbonorca, Alcasa and other factories of the aluminum sector.
Among the negative aspects that most affected the national steel chain during the years 2008 and 2009, representatives of these companies agreed on three factors: the global financial crisis, falling prices in some of its main products manufactured and the closure of major buyers.
Besides these problems, arising from the international economic situation, one of the most recurrent was the presence of outsourcing still work in all companies, to a greater or lesser extent.
"What we are proposing here, beyond a person beyond an official has to do with a structure, has to do with a management model that no longer more and we are struggling to change," said the owner of Mibam .

Gold Corporation

He stated that the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) has already scheduled a gold marketing policy that will encourage an increase in international reserves. For this reason, the BCV will establish a branch in the state of Bolivar, where they will run two fundamental institutions: the Institute of Gold and the Gold Certification Institute, the latter shall be responsible for ore to guarantee gold produced within the country.
