On NYSE - KRY sp making a lower-low on 15min techs, not exactly the follow-up one would like from the after-lunch crowd, but seeing some big buying at this moment with a 400k block just moved to get to 0.4500. Plus, although Daily Technicals are somewhat mixed at this time, the Daily OBV shows very strong support and continues to climb - Bullish? Uh, yeah. Volume at about 17.6M with about 90 minutes left to trade. Not so sure this is a, "Pump and Dump," as there really was no pumping recently anywhere (was it going on elsewhere?). The timing of the pop, then drop, then resuming of this strong move can vary immensely because of the emotional buying and selling. May indicate news to come, or not.
Market, S&P500, still floating along just fine, up nearly two percent with an hour and a half to go. Reminder (since original "Monday Market" has been long buried among the posts) : This is Options Expiration week with today seeing 2012 LEAPS added. Also, the Russell 2k chart shows a double-top, which may not bode well for small caps. Possible that speculators are getting tired of buying. be aware and stay diversified.
Gold closing on NYMEX at a high. Currently beyond $1140. Weak dollar is doing this.
