The wording is copied from the JV agreement in section D. Most other aspects of the JV are different from the Salazar agreement, which would have required Teck to fund 4 times the expenditures already made by CUU for any additional work(with the 75% option). No money would go directly to CUU under Salazar, so they negotiated for some cash payments under the JV. Whether is was a good deal or not is another discussion.
