I am looking at the website and trying to understand what has happened.

It appears that the bulk of the Eaglehead claims were orginally set to expire in February 2019, and then four more claims were originally expiring in April 2016.

All of those claims were amalgamated with an expiry date of midnight last night (on the 11th.) They are now forefeited.

Those claims were then staked today by two people: Mardell Martindale and Brian William Scott from Tagish in the Yukon.

Carmax currently owns in 'good standing' only one claim for 100 ha known as EH#9 on the map on their website.
