Regarding a different "frontline", I'm going to take some advice that was given to me last week:

"Stay away from stocks with busy web forums/bullboards"

Makes sense to me as its easy to get emotionally attached to a stock when your discussing it regularly.

So probably won't meet on a different battlefield, but it is a small world...
