It all depends why he is doing it and without confirmation from him, we will never now. He could have just moved shares around for tax reasons or gave some away to kids, relatives which are non-events. Since those transactions were done privately, I tend to believe it was one of the scenarios above.

Selling on the open market might have more of a negative outlook to it, but even then we won't know the real reason behind it; could be as simple as needing some cash on short notice.

If Hector, through his director position, would know something bad about this stock, he won't be allowed to sell anyway; he won't risk going to jail over 20-30 thousand dollars.
