I make no claim to be immune to these emotions. However I am too stubborn to capitulate and give up, especially when I have done a ton of DD. Fortunately I am extremely patient by nature and try hard to practice contrarianism. For example I made a quick $155K gain leveraging $150K into the N.A. markets in March '09 when everyone was convinced the end of the world was upon us. It wasn't easy to do especially since this put Bea way out of her comfort zone, but we ended up doubling the leveraged portfolio within 18-20 months.
