I was thinking some more about EE waiting for metals to recover in order to fetch a price that is to his liking.

What if that might take years? If the forecast for base metals remains gloomy and the best EE can do in the near-term is maybe $1 per share, can we be so sure that he'll reject it? He's still going to make money on $1 or $1.50 per share.

If EE has another hot investment or two staring him in the face, why not take his $100 million or so and put it into something that he's expecting multiples from?

Yes, he's a billionaire but even billionaires have limits on how much they're willing to invest/gamble. We know EE has holdings in several other stocks. Maybe he won't have patience with CUU for "as long as it takes."

There are no guarantees. Some might find that idea unsettling and immediately dismiss it, but who predicted we'd be where we are now? Take a look at those two buyout pools and find me anyone who guessed that we'd still be around by now. We all missed by a country mile.
