....but why does Teck plan to drill east side and not build the mine according to the feasibility study? beacuse from an operator's point the feasibility study leaves a lot to be improved....

good post BCmet, and to add, Teck , with the drilling plan, will want to ensure any 'steep' east pit wall (based on current plan) is sustainable during mining and not susceptible to any collapse > further de-risking.
