There seems to be a lot of negativity today after the conference call and share price.
I am awed that the winds have changed so much since yesterday. I think a lot of people are losing sight of all of the positives here. Sure the share price is being driven down today, but we're a well-financed junior company with proven resources (which are very likely to get better). Partnered with Teck and have a 25% plus stake in a huge project.
I've been waiting a few years on this project too, but I have to agree, not too many big mining companies are investing in juniors right now, so I think this makes cuu look pretty attractive.
I would have done things a lot differently if I'd known how this was going to play out, but there's nothing we can do but move forward. Yes, I'd hope for a complete buyout, but there was also part of me that was very worried that nothing would materialize at all. What we got yesterday was very good news and a firm commitment by Teck going forward. Noone wants to wait, but I feel a lot better and optimistic than I did 6 months ago, a month ago, and even two days ago. Though we have more uncertainty and another wait, we also were given a reason yesterday to be optimistic, so let people enjoy the accomplishment right?
