c) Disclosure of information concerning the status of ongoing negotiations would prejudice the successful completionof those negotiations. It is unnecessary to make a series of announcements concerning the status of negotiations with another party concerning a particular transaction. If it seems that the situation is going to stabilize within a short period, public disclosure may be delayed until a definitive announcement can be made. Disclosure should be made once “concrete information” is available, such as a final decision to proceed with the transaction or, at a later point in time, finalization of the terms of the transaction.
It all depends on what CUU and Teck's understanding of the English language interpretation of "within a short period..." means. If it's anything like their understanding of "soon", we are in deep doo doo. However, if it means like Webgogs say:
"Generally, 10 days is considered a short period where stabilization is expected. "
I can live with that. Which means this Thursday, June 14, 2013 the 10 days is up and we should hear something from CUU/Teck. It would have been so simple of they had made a NR like:
"Copper Fox Announces a Two Week Extension
