"What makes you think that? Teck has a history of acting fairly soon after they are put on notice. Besides that if they are going to buy us out 100% they must put this to a shareholder vote as per SEC rules so add another 30-45 days to send out notices etc. If their offer is rejected (we get another offer) then they must allow even some more time to make another offer. Therefore, imo, a buyout decision and offer must come within 60 days after our notice is delivered otherwise they will be forced to make a back-in decision."

cbew, thanks for that and I agree. But I'd go further and say cuushareholder's suggestion, given as it was without a rationale, is 'soft bashing' and is not the only recent instance. Yes, I am being critical, so apologies to anyone who thinks my rare appearance on the main forum means that I'm "irate" about something. It's really just my antennae waving about.
