we are all blowing sunshine up our btts if we think the current share price will not alter or affect their decision in calculating the final buyout price.

It's been said ad-nauseum but the buyout will be based on the value of the mine, the associated risk and further potential. Not the current share price.

To put this in perspective though, let's pretend (hypothetically, not saying this would happen) that someone - say EE put in a market order for 5 million shares. Where would the share price be? I think over a couple of months, Stiefel was calculated to have 7 or so million, and it took the price from where we are now to $2.75. Now imagine that in one day. Let's say we take out all the asks and we sit north of $3. Are we suddenly worth more? What if it took us north of $5? Are we suddenly worth more? Chances are - most of you would say, no - we're not (though most of us would be a lot less anxious, and some of us would take profits). Now, the hypothetical share price is at whatever amount. $3, $5. Does that somehow change what the buyout will be? Not really. What if we took it further and EE bought 10 million shares at market. We go up to $7. Can we still get a premium and say our company is now worth $2.8 billion? No, not really.

If the answer was "yes", then it would be better spent just buying shares on the open market and asking for more than funding drills. Why spend 10 million on 10 drills, when you can buy 10 million shares and create "the same value". It would be EE's money anyway. You can't. The shareprice means nothing.

I'm rather upset because I had first entered at $0.72 but got most of my position at higher prices ($1.30, $1.50ish) and we've dipped below my entry. I could have bought more today than back then, and have to wait a shorter time. However, that doesn't change what we'll be bought out for. I'm sure that many have learned a lot of lessons on this play. About mining, about investing in general and even something about yourself. Let's wait till we fully realize the big lesson I hope we learn in that patience pays off.
