If the winking is supposed to insinuate that somethings going on behind the scenes (negotiations prior to the notification, stop the transfer of liard etc.), I thought that too for a moment but wouldn't the insider selling negate that idea? And even "David isn't part of them" is questionable and speculative.

It is possible that it's going on, but I've heard wolf too many times, and have called wolf myself for me to get excited by the idea. Like others, hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
