Terrible excuses in my opinion. If 10 drill holes truly could have significantly improved our Feasibility Study then everything should have been done to make it happen. Let's hope that Teck is more aggressive with their drilling program and can get some measurable results.
RT. If indeed its true that only 10 more (deep) drills at a maximum of lets say $1M each could have vastly improved the deposit, then they would have done so with the backing of EE. However, the only explanation about why they didn't is because Teck must have given CUU the green light regarding the 1:1 correlation with the Mira, Aerials etc. If they said they trust the information and we could negotiate that later then CUU management must of said "sounds good, we will go ahead and complete the BFS without the extra drills".
Remember back in August when drills were sent to the site then abruptly sent back. This explains that occurence. Elmer must of let Teck know that CUU could go back and drill up the "waste rock", delay the project with another RE, and issue the BFS in mid to late 2013. But with much, much better numbers which could easily attract other BIG BOYS to line up and bid for CUU's portion.
Outside of this hypothetical series of events.... I'm not sure why they would have stopped drilling.
