For a buyout, at least there's evidence in that managements mission is clearly to sell. What basis is there for any sort of investigation or fowl play?

I agree with ruling all possibilities, but give heavier weight to that which is likely...Bringing up things that have a near-zero possibility, and in such a long convoluted manner is useless and takes away a lot of your credibility.

I like your approach of taking both sides, but when asked what you ACTUALLY think the reason for the blackout and giving that as an answer, especially with no reason to think so is just dangerous.
