One thing I might add in connection to your post is that if Teck makes a semi-formal offer for Copper Fox, I believe that the company CEO is bound by fiduciary duties to seek out the best possible deal for ALL shareholders. In otherwords, he is not upholding his fiduciary duties if he doesn't shop around for competing offers.

That being said, Elmer would not be able to properly solicit competing offers without a BFS (and perferably an updated RE) in hand to showcase.

That being said, If Teck doesn't want the BFS to become public then they would be encouraging Elmer to do his 'competing bids' shopping right now with a draft or completed BFS and RE. This is why it is my belief that the completed BFS is already in Elmer's hands and is being kept under raps until the Schaft Creek "silent" auction is over.

Thoughts anyone?
