Clifton Star Resources

Clifton recently filed a NI 43-101 compliant report based on new drilling at Beattie and Donchester which outlines significant gold resources on the property. Beattie (measured & indicated) at a cut-off grade of 2.4 g.Au/t, Inferred at a cut-off grade of 2.4 g.Au/t and measured & indicated at a cut-off grade of 1.0 g.Au/t.

This area is recognized for refractory gold. Typical gold recoveries in Beatties was in the 90%, with the sulfide concentrate roasting step. Today, roasting is no more an economic and environmental alternative to oxide the gold concentrate because of the extreme costs associated with As2O3 and SO2 recovery. Typical refractory treatment (pressure oxidation and roasting are generally applicable to high grade gold ore (> 5-10 g Au/mt)..

Typical gold recoveries in the Beattie are in the 50% range without the roasting step.

I didn't see any cyanidation tests results on any press release. Osisko is behing this project and it's sure that they have metallurgical results in their office. Why don't they publish them ?
