In the case of Pinetree/Sheldon, they were never an insider because they were management or BoD...They were declared insiders because they held 10% or more of the partially diluted share float. Once they held less than 10%, they were no longer declared insiders.
In a case like this, these insiders were not privy to any inside info, we knew as much as they did, at least in theory that is how it works. So no insider knowledge and no 10% holding, than, no longer an insider.
I was happy to back the truck up yesterday and will continue to hold for at least a few weeks as it will take some time to get rid of the penny flippers and return CCB to fair value which should be 23-27 cents IMO in the near future and climbing back towards mid to high 30s later.
ZEN has hired 2 very seasoned specialty graphite players in Dr. Chahar and Mr Yamashita to help them develop their specialty graphite market. These guys are from the synthetic side so for them to jump to natural graphite of ZEN's and CCB's style, they see something that the market just does not get yet. I suspect that with Dr. Chahar at the PDAC, some money people will be getting an education in the value of high end graphite and on a % basis, this will probably favor CCB because of our ridiculous market cap caused by an external factor in Sheldon selling at any price to get out.
Prime minister Brown sold England's gold at the bottom of the gold price, something that is now referred to as the Brown bottom. I believe we now have the Sheldon bottom on the TSXv and this will mark the turn around of this index.
This is the perfect storm of an opportunity for those that see it: MC lowered below reasonable value, PDAC, Dr Chahar educating investors about the value of high end graphite. If these things together cannot create a fantastic opportunity to make money, than the TSXv is still in big trouble!
