Tribute Minerals Inc. (the “Company” or “Tribute”) (TSX-V: TBM) is pleased to announce that it has filed Articles of Amendment to change the name of the Company to AurCrest Gold Inc. and to consolidate the stock on the basis of 1 new share of AurCrest Gold Inc. for each 5 shares of Tribute held. The common shares of the Company will trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol “AGO”.
The Company will commence trading under the new name and symbol at the market open on Friday, December 3, 2010.
The new CUSIP for the Company’s post-consolidation common shares is 05153A101. Registered shareholders will receive a letter of transmittal to exchange their original common shares for post-consolidation common shares. Beneficial shareholders will have their accounts automatically adjusted.

    Ian Brodie-Brown: President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

    Mr. Ian Brodie-Brown resides in Castletown, Ontario and is an independent financial consultant and private asset manager. Mr. Brodie-Brown is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has seven years experience arranging venture capital for emerging companies, specializing in arranging venture capital for the mining industry.

    Trevor Boyd Ph.D., P. Geo: Consulting Geologist

    Trevor Boyd (P. Geo., Ontario) earned his Ph.D. in geology from the University of Toronto in 1996. His research focused on studies on modern volcanogenic seafloor sulphide deposits and their ancient analogues under the supervision of Professor Steven Scott. He also has a M.Sc.(Applied) MINEX degree from McGill University. Since 1987, he has worked for Noranda, Falconbridge, Westmin Resources and Tri Origin Exploration as well as lectured in economic geology at York Uiniversity. He presently works as a consulting geologist.

    Peter Brodie-Brown: Vice-President, Shareholder Relations

    Mr. Peter Brodie-Brown resides in Toronto and is an independent consultant specializing in shareholder relations. Peter studied at the University of New Brunswick and for the past five years has addressed the needs and concerns of the shareholders of a number of companies. Peter currently offers a wide range of specialty support services to junior resource companies.

    Mr. Nemis received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. Mr. Nemis was called to the bar in the Province of Ontario in 1968 and has practiced law since that time. He has had associations with several Canadian mining and oil and gas companies including establishing Central Crude Ltd., now named River Gold Mines Inc. and listed on the TSX.

    William R. Johnstone: Director

    William R. Johnstone, is the Company's corporate counsel and is the company's Secretary. He is a partner at Gardiner Roberts LLP, a Corporate/Securities law firm in the city of Toronto. Mr. Johnstone is a director of the Canadian Listed Company Association and was recently appointed as a member of the OSC's Small Business Advisory Committee. Mr. Johnstone is also an officer and/or director of five other TSX Venture Exchange listed companies.

    Frank van de Water: Director

    Frank van de Water is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants; he has had a 40-year career in financial roles and extensive experience with mining companies operating in Canada, Africa and Europe. He has held the positions of controller, vice-president finance, chief financial officer and president, and was the finance director of a large metal dealer on the London Metal Exchange. He has been the chief financial officer of Zaruma Resources Inc. since July, 2002.
