Re: There's still life at this site,? ...Up today.

I spotted Agoracom/ MannKind when I Googled MNKD so I had to check it out. Maybe you can resurrect the board, it was good in it's day. Have a Merry Christmas.

Welcome to the board, canakid.I was hoping Al would do something like this but I wasn't expecting it. I love it. It's up 32 cents pre-market, let's hope it stays up today.

*** MannKind Assigned Patent ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 26 -- MannKind, Valencia, Calif., has been assigned a patent (8,512,932) developed by Bryan R. Wilson, Bedford, N.Y., and Marshall Grant, Newtown, Conn., for a "method for improving the pharmaceutic properties of microparticles comprising diketopiperazine and an active agent." The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: "Methods are provided for drying a particle. Specifically, there is provided a spray-dried diketopiperazine-insulin particle formulation having improved aerodynamic performance and in which the active agent is more stabile and efficiently delivered as compared to that of the lyophilized diketopiperazine-insulin formulation. The dry powders have utility as pharmaceutical formulations for pulmonary delivery." The patent application was filed on Sept. 22, 2011 (13/239,696). Re: 171/175 Trial Results

Cannon,

I was expecting better results too but I think they are still good enough for approval and the Type II results were actually quite excellent. The Type II will eventually be the moneymaker IMO.That said, I plan (as I always have) to sell SOME shares during the pre PDUFA run up.I will buy them(and more) back, with the calls I own, after approval.I don't feel comfortable with all that money riding on the FDA decision. After two disappointments I don't trust them.

For what it's worth.
