I had assumed that the examiner when doing a reexam request did a thorough search for all prior art concerning the patent. You would think that after two years tied up at the USPTO this would be the case. I would guess that since the KSR ruling that they have to review combinations of differnt patents, which could be an endless process. Let us hope these Richardson and Fish requests are territory already traveled and will be dismissed.
