It looks like yet another re-ex request based on prior art involving Uhlenhoff in combination with Ledzius instead of Kato and Ledzius(which was addressed in the original re-ex) that resulted in amendments to claims which should put the '336 in (or closer to) a condition for a re-cert.

This is way over my head and analysis from a techie is needed here. Read the "Receipt of Orig. Ex Parte Request by Third Party" in IFW.

Bottom line....HTC, Acer, Barco & Sirius together are taking a shot at invalidating the patent any way they can. I hope examiner Rimmell makes short work of denying this request as well. Is there no end to how many 3rd party requests are taken into consideration?
