Without being confrontative, how can Dutton state this with today's report, while "sources close to PTSC" say something different?

"The agreement and the NDA between the defendants under the Texas settlement severely affected the ability of Patriot Scientific to discuss or quantify the ruling, and investors were left to speculate the terms and financials of the settlement.

Because of this situation, Patriot Scientific cannot and HAS NOT released any specific financial information regarding the settlement and other license agreements."

Or do I read too much in this (IMO obvious) sentences, because I'm not a native english sppeaker?

Really appreciate any guidance to my question.
