Well his reputation is safe for this Q's results. He took over the day AFTER this quarter ended...2/29/08.

Similarly I wondered,even back then, why Turley "resigned" his elected board seat. He may or may not have been let go of the CEO position, but he reignation of the BOD seat might have been that he didn't agree with all that occurred in the Quarter and the lack of info that was diseminated to us by the agreed upon NDA.
