Thanks for the correction re 12/18 settlement: "The NEC filing that I started this thread with is actually for the period through 12/31/07, so the 12/18 settlements would be included."

I was using a recent announcement date in error.

Because the patents still have a fairly long life, depreciation of these assets might not be easy to see on a Q report - amoungst all the other big $ schedules of a company this size.
