Company has signed a Development Agreement with the Government of the Sultanate of Oman. Omagine Owns 60%; Sultanate Owns 25%; Consolidated Contractors Owns 15%. Project to be developed on 245 acres of beach front land on Gulf of Oman. The estimated cost approximately $2.5 Billion. BNP Paribas To Lead Construction Financing Syndicate.

I'll answer your question with another question. Why didn't the Sultan just say forget it, or the MOT say for get it, instead of coming on board and saying there's nothing hampering the project from going through. I agree that they could be stringing us along just for the fun of it, but maybe there's a silver lining in all this. After all, Frank has been in the middle east and also has experience with their culture. It was unfortunate that the first lady MOT that he was acquainted with through the Omagine project passed away. Maybe someone with brains in the RCA will see the light.
