This post and prior one raise good points and requires me to clarify my comment.

IMO we have misinterpreted Handal's role in "marketing."

When thinking of marketing, my 1st thought is selling one's goods and services.

My understanding is Handal sends out documentation to notify consumer electronic outfits and all those like ArcSoft, Dropcam, Google, Verizon...you name it, of our new patent portfolios.

If parties are interested, to further their knowledge and see if they are interested in the IP, NDA's are required, giving access to Pat, Fred & Kevin to conduct DD.

So, Tony et al are the legal go between team then EDIG guys do the selling.

When Handal's role was expanded to include "marketing", I feel Fred errored in using that word, leaving us with the wrong understanding of their role.
