All this smart house stuff, connectivity, Dropcam etc, is not as new as one thinks, it's been around since the late 70's/early 80's, in "infant" form from a technical prospective.
I did a multi million dollar house project (supplied the electrical infrastructure equipment) in Newport Beach, CA in 1978.
The guy made millions as a stock broker and wanted to have some special stuff...and he did.
One of which, was communicating with his various gadgets via a land line. He was a frequent visitor to Las Vegas and wanted his dinner ready when he got home...OK?
Example: His electric oven, thru this "black box" (a mini computer of sorts) wired to it, could take commands via a code by phone, as would the other gadgets.
He would put a frozen turkey in the oven on Friday, go to Vegas, then on Sunday, call the house before leaving the hotel, via code turn on the oven, with a preset tempurature, enter the amount of time to cook the bird, leave town and it was ready when he arrived.
Really....I thought he was nuts...lol.
Get this...the master bedroom had a dome ceiling with shutters (large blinds of sorts) that could be opened/closed via a control panel on the headboard, with timer preset or manually operated. A photo cell on the roof would activate the timer, then another sensor/camera would track the moons movement, send a command to the bed that was on a circular track, the bed would then turn as the moon moved, so this guy and spouse could lay on their back and watch the moon until going to sleep of course, then waking up to, you know, relieve thyself, go back to bed and watch the moon again for a while...lol. The dome ceiling rotated as did the bed, for a perfect moon view all night...depending on the time of year of course.
The company I worked for made a circuit breaker panel with "smart breakers", which could be turned on and off via a land line, then the car phone came along, us older guys remember the car phone, physically installed, with a microphone at the top of the windsheild and speaker under the dashboard for hands free operation, so these breakers could be activated while one is on the road....turn the lights on before pulling in the garage...turn the A/C or heater on, turn on the stereo...you got the picture...it was then that the "smart house" term came to being. That's what this guy had to make all this stuff work.
Fast forward, we have what we do today, highly sofisticated technology available for the home, business..etc.

These are much further advanced of course vs 1978, as the technology has evolved...this is where NUNCHI fits in, ala Dropcam and the other rascals Handal is aiming at in time.
All this stuff is maturing at a fast rate...stay tuned, NUNCHI has a place in all this stuff, in fact, we are already there, with the bad guys stealing the e.Digital IP.
Footnote: the guy went broke when the market got goofy...no more moon viewing, no more Vegas, no more turkey....
