Massive Decision in Texas Court expected today: Wilan vs Apple


There will be a verdict expected this afternoon in the case again Wilan. (WIN on the Tsx, WILN on the Naz)

Wilan accuses them of willful infringement of thier 802 patent and coud be entitled to treble damages.

It is a well know founding patent for smartphone technology.

Virtually all of the other phone and tablet manufacturers (Samsung, BB, HTC, Nokia, Panasonic, Dell etc) have licensed this proven patent.

If Apple loses today, the damages will range from $500 million to +1$ Billion.
